![]() ![]() ![]() Would they work? Almost certainly, but I have a hard time justifying spending $249 on a rebranded OM-90 when you can find much better masks within and below that price range. Ironic for a company that repeatedly attacks surplus to resell surplus Soviet-era designs. They claim they're NATO threaded but I am very skeptical as the filter attachment looks identical to the PDF-7. ![]() They sell a PDF-7SH (a Soviet era children's version of the GP-7) as a "CM-2M" for $180, which is odd since I've seen originals on eBay go for around $40. Supposedly they have made claims that they are used by various military and law enforcement agencies, I don't have the exact details off the top of my head but I recall they were debunked. Looking up Mira on YouTube is a surefire way to find plenty of these.l Granted, he likely doesn't know much about gas masks in general, but still it's very clear he's one of many sponsored advertisements Mira is behind. I lost some respect for Colion Noir when he uploaded that recent video shilling for Mira. One of their tactics is sponsoring well known figures in the tactical and prepping communities. They market themselves to communities (tactical shooting and preppers) that probably aren't super knowledgeable on the topic of gas masks and saturate the internet with misinformation to make themselves look better. They deliberately spread misinformation, have published several lists on reputable websites proclaiming that everything that isn't MIRA is inferior, claim surplus is completely useless, and price gouge resold Eastern European masks. ![]()
